Instructions
In The Round
Cast On
- 1CO 60 sts loosely using your preferred stretchy cast-on.
- 2Place marker for beginning of round and join carefully, making sure the stitches are not twisted.
Body
Stockinette
- 1Foundation rnds: Work *k1, p1; rep from * around for 4 rnds.
- 2Body rnd: Knit all sts.
- 3Rep Body rnd until the piece measures approx. 7.5 in / 19 cm from the cast-on edge.
- 4Upper edge rnds: Work *k1, p1; rep from * around for 4 rnds.
One By One Rib
- 1Rnd 1: *k1, p1; rep from * around.
- 2Rep Rnd 1 until the piece measures approx. 8.5 in / 21.5 cm from the cast-on edge.
Bind Off
- 1BO all sts loosely in pattern. If you used the stockinette option, bind off in *k1, p1* for the ribbed top edge.
Finishing
- 1Weave in ends with a tapestry needle.
- 2Soak or steam block lightly, then lay flat to dry.
- 3Slip it on, give it a little fluff, and enjoy a finished cowl you made in just an evening.
